Since its inaugural journey back in 1999, the canadian pacific holiday train has raised over 5.3 million pounds of food and more than $24.3 million for community food banks.

It also includes stops in ontario, manitoba, saskatchewan, and alberta. The canadian pacific holiday train will stop in 20 minnesota towns on its annual ride through the northern u.s., bringing live entertainment and christmas cheer in exchange for donations to local food banks.
